# Shard Miner

Shard Miner is a casual tap-to-dig game made by 9Y9 PTY LTD, trading as SCDO Laboratory, starring the SCDO kitten miner.

* Play: <https://scdoscan.io/games/shard-miner/>
* Tap a block to mine **Sparks**, buy upgrades, and open five dig sites (Shard0 to Shard4).
* Short skill challenges (Rubble Run, Gem Link) turn your score into Sparks one for one.
* Sparks are fictional points kept on your device. They cannot be exchanged and have no value.

## Shard Miner · Real Compute

<https://scdoscan.io/games/shard-miner-real/> (currently in Traditional Chinese) is a dig game with an **optional** real-mining mode:

* Off by default. It starts only when you enter your own Classic Shard1 address (`1S01…`), tick the consent box and press **Start mining**. You can stop at any time.
* While on, the tab uses your CPU to compute Classic Shard1 (zpow) work and submits shares through the SCDO pool. The pool pays your own address under PPLNS once you reach the minimum payout. The game never holds your coins.
* The CPU gets busier, uses more power and the device may warm up. Mining pauses when you switch tabs or the battery is low.
* In-game items (crystals, fish) stay in your browser and cannot be exchanged.
* How much you receive depends on network hashrate and pool settlement. No income is promised.

Shard0 is an EVM chain and cannot be mined in a browser; this page mines Shard1 only.
